The LTX is a polishing machine for round edges (up to 8 cm thick) and flat edges (up to 10 cm) that is based on the philosophy of shaping using a single diamond cup wheel for all profiles and thicknesses. The oscillation system is driven by two motors connected by an electric shaft: a solution that allows for mechanical simplification, reduced maintenance, high performance, and good reliability, as per the Marmo Meccanica patent from 1987. The structure is a self-supporting monocoque (not a tubular truss covered). The processing water is channeled into a single collector (it does not fall directly to the ground and does not wash over the machine’s supporting base). All protections are made of robust and safe stainless steel.

The LTX is the most customizable polisher in the Marmo Meccanica line. In fact, its structure has been designed to allow modularity and the addition of many optional functions.

The LTX is offered in 2 standard versions: the LTX 621 and the LTX 6221.

The LTX 621 is equipped with:

1. 1 CALIBRATING SPINDLE to perform thicknessing at an adjustable depth (max. 10 cm). This spindle can be adjusted both transversely and longitudinally to its tool holder axis; it can also be rotated from 0° to 90°, allowing it to be used for creating recesses for the drip edge. For tools Ø 250 mm.
2. 2 SPINDLES WITH 45° INCLINED ARMS to perform chamfering and/or beveling of various sizes. When round profile edges need to be executed, these spindles, with the use of appropriate conical diamond wheels, greatly facilitate the subsequent shaping performed by the oscillating spindles by milling the edges. For wheels Ø 130 mm.
3. 6 OSCILLATING SPINDLES, of which the first two are designed to mount cup diamond wheels for shaping round profiles or grinding flat, squared, or inclined profiles; while the other four mount abrasive grinding and polishing wheels. If necessary, all 6 spindles can mount abrasive wheels. Other models derived from the standard LTT 621, with the addition of other spindles, can be built upon request. For wheels Ø 130 mm.

The LTX 6221 has the same configuration as the LTX 621, to which 2 CHAMFERING SPINDLES are added at the output.

Numerous optional features for customization are available upon request, including:

– Drip edge at the output from the side of the bench
– Drip edge at the output from the opposite side of the bench
– Recess on the edge at the output
– Shaping with shaped diamond wheel
– Edge milling (squaring and leveling of out-of-square and laminated edges)
– Non-through straight or inclined cuts (up to 2)
– 45° cut (miter cut)
– Anti-slip cuts with multi-blade kit
– Edge grinding
– Bush-hammering

• The control panel, mounted on a swivel arm, is always accessible.
• The oscillating spindles are unified and tested on thousands of machines produced. Protected with a mechanical labyrinth system (without bellows), each has a hydraulic motor and performs differentiated rotations.
• The spindle support beam is pressurized, has a lever and connecting rod oscillation system (maintenance-free and extensively tested – original MM patent from 1987) and micro-oscillation for flat parts.
• The oscillation system is driven by two motors connected by an electric shaft: a solution that allows for mechanical simplification, reduced maintenance, and high performance combined with good reliability today.
• The color touchscreen programmer allows for quick and intuitive machine setup by selecting preset and customizable profiles.
• The positioning of the functional groups is automatic.
• The preset programs can be customized and stored.
• Partial processing is possible, as well as the programming of advance and delay activation distinct for each pneumatic spindle.
• The programmer also has the following functions: – DIAGNOSTICS, which allows for identifying any processing anomalies and/or machine failures; – PRODUCTION STATISTICS, which allows for storing quantities based on the types of work performed (partial, resettable, and total counters);  MAINTENANCE PROGRAM, which reminds the user of routine maintenance operations to be performed.
