Performing 45° cuts (miter cut) on thick stone slabs is usually a process that does not pose problems, but it can become risky when working with thin panels, especially on very chippable materials, such as ceramics, Dekton, and similar.
For thicknesses below 20 mm, using a diamond blade is no longer a 100% safe option: The thinner the panel to be worked, the greater the risk of chipping, splintering, or even breaking it.
Marmo Meccanica has found a solution to this problem by testing and validating, in horizontal setups, a dual diamond wheel setup that allows for miter cuts in a single pass and with a finished product that shows no defects.
